mine has one. its an 03 330ci
mine has one the muffler is sitting in the garage, without the muffler i get bad drone at highway speeds…
For certain I know that the 1998 328i sedan came with a butterfly valve in the muffler because my dad’s has one. Some Googling tells me that it is still available on the 330s and 335s.
I could be wrong but I don’t believe most BMW’s even came with a valve in the muffler. the only cars that have these are like high end porsche’s and ferrari, lambo, maserati, etc. i don’t even think the 2009 BMW M3 comes with valves in the muffler, only some aftermarket options have valves.
where did u hear about valves in the muffler for these cars?
Hey did the 2000’s come with the butterfly valve on the end of the last muffler?
sounds like a v8, nice!
i didn’t even put a tip on it. it’s just piping straight out the back. i like the raw look that it has. what i should have done was done dual 3″ straight pipes all the way out. i might do that once i put more work into the intake, possibly a supercharger, and headers.
sounds good, y not double tips?
Thanks!
very nice…
