hey, can you zoom in while filming?
it depends on the amt of space left on your memory card, the resolution you’re using, and battery life. if you have an 8gb card w/full battery and film in 720p you can film for quite a while
@birdwk how long can each video last for the Canon Powershot SD780 IS??
how long can each video you record be?
It doesn’t make weird noises but it does detect A lot of background noise and makes it very loud!
just bought one of these today!!
question is if you need to take pictures or not
canon or flip?
what the deuce is HDMI?
regular size
Is the SD slot a regular size one? or a micro one?
is true that the sd780 makes some weird noises when you record video on it?
the battery life is very good. you can also adjust some settings to save some juice.
how long does the battery last that comes with the camera?
it must be a sd card class 4 or higher
YESSSS!!!!!
Does it ZOOM when RECORDING???
okay i recently just got this camera but i dont have a memory card i do have a sandisk memory pro stick duo and its a 4.0 gb would this one work for this camera
It is the Sandisk Extreme 3 SDHC 30MBS and it is available in 4, 8 and 16 gigs cards, I also saw this card as well, Lexar Professional 233x CompactFlash® Memory Card
What do you advise as far as this goes? Surely a regular memory card cannot unmask the full power of this camera, like the 2 above can
I was wondering, have you or anybody else used a Sandisk Extreme 3 Memory Card, it has 30 MBS or other high end memory cards? which is suppose to be great for video quality. I would think a regular memory card would not do this camera just. I cannot imagine this camera without a great memory card
You can, but it reduces the quality of the video and I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s not designed for video of far away objects. Try to get close to what you’re shooting
Hello. Quick question: When shooting video with this camera, can you zoom in and out during recording? Thanks.
I am getting that camera in a few weeks.
Right now I use the cannon SD1100 IS.
Cannon is my fave brand.
just upload them normally
I just bought a Canon SD780 and I was wondering how to upload my HD videos? Can anyone help?
