My wife and I bought a new Canon 40d. It came with a cheesy peel off LCD screen cover. Provided no protection. Figured we spent so much money on the camera, for the LCD screen to get scratched and possibly cost hundreds of dollars to fix = an easy purchase. The Giotto screen protector is everything we wanted and then some. So far so good with no issues. If you have a 40d then spend the few extra bucks to protect your investment. Well worth it.

I’m a guy so obsessed with scratches on the LCD so I can’t understand why Nikon D3 doesn’t have a protector with it. It is supposed to be a tough glass to scratch but I don’t want to take chances. I decided to get this giotto’s LCD protector with a lot of apprehesion, from built, how it fits, whether it will stand the test of time etc etc…my initial impression upon installation is “wow” this is a perfect fit….if it stays like this with use..I can raise the bar and give it 6 stars!!!

I bought this for my Canon Rebel xSi since it said 3 inches and the LCD on the xSi said 3 inches, but upon applying it to my LCD screen I had to determine that the clear glass view area of the Protector is actually slightly smaller than the LCD display on the xSi.
Not really something to gripe about, but I just think that if two things are the same length on paper, they should also be the same in reality.
Other than the slight size discrepancy the product is great and works without a problem.

I’ve had this LCD screen protector on my Canon Rebel XSi for about 9 months and am very pleased. It is very thin, but provides great protection from bumps and scratches and is very, very easy to clean. Much easier than trying to clean smudges off of the LCD screen. Since it is very thin, you can’t really tell that it is there, unless you know what to look for. You also don’t feel it when holding the camera up to your eye for focusing and shooting. I get easily distracted when shooting, so the fewer “contraptions” I can see and/or feel on my camera, the better.
Delivery was exceptionally fast from the third party vendor. Would not hesitate to purchase additional items from this seller.
