Canon PowerShot D10 Waterproof Compact Digital Camera + Batteries + Accessory Kit
We’ve had our camera now for just over 5 weeks and have used it extensively; largely for underwater pictures and video. Prior to this we owned an Olympus 1050SW. We very much favor the Olympus over the Canon for picture quality surprisingly. Unfortunately the camera didn’t even last a season of summer fun in our Bermuda waters. We own three Canon Rebel series SLR’s and feel they’re top quality and best value for your money. It was because of this, along with the existing reviews that we purchased this model to replace the Olympus. The pictures tend to be grainy and/or noisy underwater, and dependant upon setting used as recommended, the color isn’t close to true. As it’s only been a short time, the jury is still out on how the camera holds up against the continual salt water immersion (yes, we FAITHFULLY soak in freshwater bath after each use PRIOR to opening any ports).
