This is footage from the Canon Powershot D10 while underwater during my visit to the Yucatan. nothing spectacular, just some fish. My review of the camera is a 3.5 out of 5. Picture quality is GREAT Ease of use is GOOD Battery life is GREAT…. Used it during the flight from DFW to MEX city to Cancun, then at the beach, then today, 2 days of continous use and only now is the battery low. its working great and the servicing made the difference no problems
no i wasnt anchored, i was actually standing on a rock and stuck the camera in the water, lol this water was only about 15 deep at its deepest, this was filmed in the lagoon next to the hotel. check out some of my other vids like the ones where we do Snuba or somethign with helmets underwater.
It seems to be a nice camera, mainly because it can stand 30 ft under, but anyone can make a video like this standing in front of a public aquarium. What happen to you! You got stuck underwater in the same place in such way that not even by accident the framing got away from the same spot,…. or you could not show the surroundings and that was the reason? Im always diving and its almost imposible to stay put underwater for so long in the same spot!! Were you anchored? Tell the truth!
So what happened with the servicing? Did you do it? Did it make a difference?
is there any other places/stores you can buy this at?
I actually had to go way out of my way to buy this camera 2 days prior to my trip. Drove to a store an hour away just to get it. But back when i got it it had just been released. As to who carries it now, I would think most major retailers. The canon website usually list stores that sell their product, and I know it can be found on Ebay for about what it cost in the store.

i know i went nuts researching cameras, it isnt easy to just slap down 300-400 dollars for a camera.
as far as the water creeping towards the USB plug, Canon says I need to send my camera in to be serviced
